Give your child the gift of reading ...

Read Auckland is a tutoring clinic, specialising in teaching children with reading problems and other learning difficulties.

How can we help YOUR child?

Reading difficulties? Falling behind at school?
Concerned about the impacts of Dyslexia, APD or ADHD?

Contrary to popular belief, reading and learning challenges do not go away with time or age. Learning difficulties such as Dyslexia, or Auditory Processing Disorder are life-long challenges and affect different people in different ways. These individuals need skilled and appropriate intervention to give them strategies for life. Up to 15% of students struggle with reading and writing and if not supported, these children will not be able to demonstrate their TRUE ABILITIES.

We help young students work towards their true potential by:

  1. Attending to their specific needs and requirements
  2. Valuing them for who they are
  3. Providing a non-threatening and supportive environment   in which to learn
  4. Monitoring their learning progress on a regular basis

Read Auckland can support you and your child

Using specialised assessments, we identify the underlying causes of the learning difficulty. This can be unique to your child. A programme is then designed and we will suggest the most appropriate direction to support the next stage of their learning. Interventions may include one-on-one tutoring, or our Touch-Type Read and Spell Programme. We monitor their progress on a regular basis.

We offer a number of different programmes and methodologies depending on your child's needs.
